School Field Trips

Enhance your curriculum with a memorable, hands-on educational cooking experience for your students at The Cooking Lab in Port Washington!

We work with many high schools, middle schools, and elementary schools on Long Island to create lasting cultural and learning opportunities for students of all ages.

Whether exploring the science behind cooking or reviewing cooking vocabulary in a foreign language while preparing a speciality from that culture, students will have a positive and tangible learning experience that enhances their classroom study. Our cooking lessons can include science, math, foreign language, history, geography, cultural studies, and more: we'll adapt our instruction to your curriculum. 

Our fully-equipped kitchen can accommodate up to 24 students. We require a minimum of 8 students. Classes last approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on the menu and curriculum goals
. We can schedule school groups for morning classes from Tuesday through Friday. As partners in education, our special rate for schools is $60 per student (a 20% discount from our normal rate).
