About The Event
YOUNG CHEFS - Grades K-2 After School Cooking Class Series
Your child will learn essential cooking techniques and safety and confidence in the kitchen. Each recipe introduces exciting ingredients and engages all of the senses for a well-rounded culinary experience.
TUESDAYS 4:15 - 5:30 PM
Dates: April 30, May 7, May 14, May 21, May 28, June 4, June 11, June 18
Cooking skills include:
Measuring ingredients
Using basic kitchen tools
Grating cheese with a box grater
Peeling fresh fruit and vegetables
Mixing and rolling pie and tart dough
Making fresh pasta dough and using a hand-cranked pasta machine
Whipping cream with a hand-mixer
Using small knives
Boiling eggs and pasta
